Who here is a fan of Chick Fil A? Anyone ever try to perfect their nuggets, but at home? I can never get it perfect, but I can get them pretty dang close! Also, HELLO KID FRIENDLY.
Okay, so maybe most kid friendly, Cooper ate the fries, Oliver chomped on it ALL.
…also side note, you probably notice I won’t give exact measurements when it comes to cooking, I’m a wing it, and adjust next time kind of girl! I also promise never to chat your ear off, and go through every single thought in my head before I give you a recipe! Anyone else just scroll on by?! *raises hand*
Alright, Alright, let’s get to the good stuff;

What you’ll need:
3 plates or bowls
Sheet pan (nonstick or get oil spray)
Ingredients:
2 eggs
a plate full of potato starch (or flour)
a plate full of bread crumbs
celery seed
pickle juice
chicken tenders
potatoes
Super specific, right? Follow along with these pictures.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

You’ll want to marinate your chicken in pickle juice (it sounds funny I know, I felt the same), it’s really up to you for how long. I wouldn’t do more than a few hours (def not overnight, the acidic pickle juice will “cook” the chicken. Yuck.).
Crack an egg or two into a bowl and whip it up. Dip those chickie tendies in the egg, next in your potato starch, and then into your bread crumbs. Lay those bad boys on your nonstick sheet pan. *you may add celery seed to either the pickle juice, or potato starch, just a couple pinches though.
Cut up your potatoes, toss them in a little bit of oil and whatever seasoning, and toss them in the air fryer at 400 degrees, for 20 minutes, shaking them up every five minutes or so!
While those are frying, put the chicken tenders in the oven, for 15 minutes, or no longer pink.
Get some of your fave dipping sauses, and go to town!! I used Heinz Honeyracha! It was so dang good. Enjoy.
