Alright, if you haven’t read my “Best Supplements of 2020” blog, go do that first, so you can learn a little bit about this protein powder I am using. I use two different proteins, and I am sure the other one would not be so delicious as a mug cake. lol
First, I’m going to show you my go to “meal replacement” shakes. I say meal replacement lightly, because I don’t believe shakes should replace a whole meal unless you absolutely have no time. I use this in addition to a meal that I don’t get a sufficient amount of protein in at.
Okay, enough blabbing, lets get to the recipes.
Level-1 Protein Shake
6-8 oz of milk (I use Almond)
1 Scoop of Level-1 Protein ( I used blueberry muffin, there are plenty of other flavors)
1 banana
Handful of ice (unless you use a frozen banana)
Toss all in the blender, and blend!! Add a little whip cream if you’re feeling fancy.
Protein Mug Cake
1 scoop of Level-1 Protein
1/4 cup almond milk (or other milk)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp of vanilla (I forgot this in the video)
Mix all the ingredients together in a mug, or bowl, microwave for 42 seconds (yes, you read that right). 45 seconds is almost too much. lol
There are so many ways to make this, and with other flavors. Add peanut butter, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, whip cream, dried fruit, powdered peanut butter, whatever you can come up with!
Be on the look at for more ways to add protein to your diet! I love getting creative, when it comes to baking with protein!
Do you know if you’re getting enough protein in your diet? If you aren’t sure, get a hold of Markus and/or I! We will help you find out how much you should be getting!
