Alright, it’s a little late getting this blog posted, but MAN, it was kind of a fiasco!! Here we are though, I’m going to tell you some of our favorite dairy free items. I became dairy free because I am nursing our son, and dairy seems to affect him, it was a hard transition, and sometimes I still “treat’ myself to my fave ice cream in very small amounts, but other than that, we don’t eat it.
I’ve learned that my body doesn’t even care for it. The nights I do treat myself to a couple bites of my fave ice cream, my stomach hates me, then I wake up super bloated, same goes for Markus. We’ve decided to give it up together now!
Anyway, let’s get to the good stuff. Most of these are guilty pleasure treats. lol. I hope you get to enjoy them as much as we do.

Unreal Peanut Butter Cups
HOLY SHIZZZZ. So good. I think I like them better than Reese’s Eggs and Christmas Trees (we all know those taste better than normal Reese’s cups). I will always try and link the delicious things I love, and while finding the link to THESE, I dug a deep hole, and now need to order everything from their website. So BRB.

Enjoy Life Cookies
This blog might kill my bank account. The softest free of basically everything cookies (they have crunchy too, but that’s not my jam). No wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, casein, soy, egg, sesame, lupin, mustard, fish, shellfish, and crustaceans. WOW. Liiiiike, go to your nearest Fred Meyer now (okay, maybe after social distancing, instacart maybe?) these are toooo good.
Foodstirs Organic Chocolate Chippy Cookie Mix
Do you see a theme? I do. Promise we will move on to some non-sweets, but I get excited when something like this doesn’t have dairy. Honestly, we haven’t made these yet, but I think they are going to be SO GOOD. I’ll come back and review for you, how about that?!

Tessemae’s Sauces
ALL OF THEM. Well probably. There isn’t one that I haven’t loved yet. Ranch, to BBQ, to Ketchup, to well…you can take a look. We discovered these while doing Whole30, and never looked back. We love them more than your typical ranches, or BBQ. My personal fave is the Buffalo Ranch, I also am really liking the Everything Bagel Ranch cause #basic avo toast, and it’s a thicker dip consistency.

Siete Cashew Queso
We found ours at Whole Foods, so you will have to use the store locator to find this, as they do not sell online! This is a lot better than I expected it to be. I LOVE CHEESE. So queso was one HARD thing to give up, but this does curb the craving. I will say, I think it’s a little tomato-y, so if you’re a tomato hater, this probably isn’t for you. It’s made out of cashews and veggies.

Kite Hill Sour Cream
Finding this website also sent me down a dark hole of things we may need to try. I was really nervous trying a sour cream alternative, but this one is pretty dang close (not the plain greek yogurt though…ick.). Creamy, texture is fine, taste is pretty spot on, I mix mine with my food, or with salsa for a nice little snack.

Califia XX Espresso Cold Brew
Yum. I mean its coffee, of course we love it. This one did take a while to grow on me, but that was at the beginning of Whole30, now I really enjoy it. This cold brew has almond milk in it, so it’s nice and creamy, and not a “bitter” cold brew. Looks as though they have come out with a lot of dairy free products, so more reviews may have to happen.

Open Nature Almond Coffee Creamer
I could not find a website for this one, but you can do a quick google search and probably find a store near you. This one is a little sweet for my liking, but I think that just because its caramel. So if you like sweet coffee, and want a dairy alternative, I would suggest this for sure.

Primal Kitchen Chipotle Lime Mayo
Hi, did you get lost in that website too? This is another one like Tessemae, I could get lost in their website finding all the good good. This mayo is so good, and that’s coming from a couple that doesn’t care for mayo. The flavors cover up the “normal” mayo taste so nicely. They have plenty of flavors, so find one that fits your needs and tastes.

Betty Crocker Plant Butter
Last but not least. I never thought I would be buying plant butter to be honest. This stuff tastes like the real stuff!! I add it to my rice, my oatmeal, my toast, and cannot tell you the difference. Butter flavor, same texture. Not sure what else I can tell you about butter. Lol
Now this is all my personal opinion, and I am not a picky eater, if you are…take this advice with a grain of salt. I’ll probably come back to this topic, and add some more the further along in this journey we go.
Stay Confident <3
Too bad there are no Fred Myers around here. When all this chaos is over I just might take a trip to Trader Joe’s.
Them peanut butter cups look tempting.
Try Dillion’s!! Same thing! Or order some online! All the links are in the heading of each item 🤗
